New Jerusalem Harvest Ministries has its genesis in the pioneering work of Pastor V. Rangaraju. After completing his graduation in Theology & in the year 2000, Pastor Rangaraju started a church in his house. His solemn & sincere yearning to do everything on the foundation of God’s will led him to pray for a name for the ministry, church & the doctrine.
God clearly spoke to Pastor Rangaraju through Revelation 21, which talks about ‘The New Jerusalem’. Thus, the name ‘New Jerusalem Harvest Ministries’ NJHM was coined. The church was named ‘New Jerusalem Church’ with a tag line called ‘Changing lives in the image of Christ’. In the year 2015, the tag line was changed to ‘A place to prepare like Christ’.
It was only in the year 2014, a logo was prayerfully designed. The logo consists of a cube, dove, paddy stock, 4 lettered word ‘NJHM’ & epitomizes as elucidated below.
a) Cube: It represents the holy city, the new Jerusalem with its boundaries
b) Dove: It represents the Holy Spirit
c) Paddy stock: Ripe paddy symbolizes ‘harvest’, representing harvest of souls
d) Golden Color: The cube & paddy are in Golden color ripened harvest of souls (ethical, moral & spiritual)
e) Crown on letter ‘J’: Letter ‘J’ stands for Jerusalem & the crown on the letter signifies royalty of the reigning king Jesus.
