One might wonder how ‘KINGDOM KIDS’ got its name. Well, the spur definitely is from the word of God. The verse in Matthew 19:13 – 15 says, Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put His hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence
Once can refer Mark 10: 13 – 16 and Luke 18: 15 – 17, we come across the word like ‘Kingdom of God’
Thus, the children ministry of NJHM was named as ‘KINGDOM KIDS’
Every year ‘Kingdom Kids’ conducts vacation bible school in different languages viz, English, Telugu and Kannada, at various locations. Kids from the age group 3 – 19 year take part. The team travels to different villages, sometime camps at the same place and carries out the pre-arranged activities
Innovative methods have been adopted by this team in the spread of the gospel. To name a few, ‘meaningful action songs’, ‘vibrant music’, ‘fun outdoor activities’, ‘inspiring bible messages’, are some of the activities baked into the program. The teaching system is a rotational methodology that is adopted and we have been witnessing great testimonies.
NJHM is willing to partner with various groups in reaching out to these little minds and answer life’s toughest questions that these kids might have. We encourage the little ones to ask questions, seek answers and share with other fellow beings.
