New Jerusalem Church was founded under the aegis of Pastor V. Rangaraju in the year 1999-2000. The church was initially started in the house, in Hindupur in the district of Anantapur of the state of Andhra Pradesh, where the Pastor and his wife V. Glory Rani were residing. From the first service with no members, New Jerusalem Church now avowals of 700+ members and a global online audience.
Thus, was started the first church in Hindupur, under the name ‘New Jerusalem Chruch’. The church started growing and soon the living room was not sufficient, and the church had to be expanded to a nearby shed.
As prophesied by Pastor S R Manohar, a mighty servant of God from Rays of Love Ministries, to think and plan big, Pastor Rangaraju was being prompted to not limit to only to Hindupur but expand beyond the town of Hindupur. Pastor Rangaraju began thinking and praying for the same. Between expanding in Anantapur or Bangalore, Pastor was clearly directed by God to expand the church in Bangalore.
Thus, in the year 2009, the church in Bangalore was started. Church service was conducted initially conducted in A. V. Varadachar Kalakshetra and Memorial hall. In the year 2014, another milestone was achieved in the history of NJHM. The Lord blessed the Bangalore church with a permanent campus at Hennur, Bangalore.
New Jerusalem Church, A bible-based church, where precedence is given to the presence of God and aims to connect every believer with his creator. New Jerusalem Church is thus a ‘Human Workshop’ where lives are being transformed in the presence of God and built by the word of God.
The following programmes are conducted at both Bangalore & Hindupur churches
Apart from the above mentioned programmes, New Jerusalem Church also has enthusiastic kids group called ‘Kingdom Kids’, a matured Youth group called ‘SALT ARMY’ (Save Another Lost Teen by Anointed Reigning Mighty Youth) & vibrant women group called ‘Victorious Women’
There is not a single Sunday which goes by without a testimony being shared during the Sunday Worship Service.
Through the year, the church plans various activities like fasting prayer meet, out reach programmes, medical camps, Vacation bible School, Cottage prayer meet etc.,
The church programmes are prayerfully designed and tailored to fill the hunger and thrist of every soul. One can find the love of Jesus, message of cross, intimacy of the Holy Spirit, spirit filled intimate worship, anointed powerful word of God & much more are baked into every programme of the church. There is never a dull moment & everyone walk out of the church premises completely refreshed and waiting for the next event.
