New Jerusalem Harvest Ministries is a ministry dedicated to the harvest, relying on the guidance of the Holy Spirit to direct its purpose and fervently prepare His bride for the New Jerusalem.

The origins of New Jerusalem Harvest Ministries trace back to the pioneering efforts of Bishop Dr. V. Rangaraju. Following the completion of his theological studies in 2000, Bishop Rangaraju, propelled by a clear vision to engage in field missions with the clear direction of the Holy Spirit, initiated a church in his home with just one member. This humble beginning took place in the town of Hindupur, located in the current Satya Sai district of Andhra Pradesh, India. Since then, the ministry has expanded significantly, blessing communities across cities, notably Hindupur, Bangalore, and its surrounding areas.

Bishop Rangaraju’s unwavering commitment to aligning every aspect of the ministry with God’s will led him to seek divine guidance for its name, church, and doctrine. God’s response, communicated through Revelation 21, which explores ‘The New Jerusalem,’ inspired the name ‘New Jerusalem Harvest Ministries’ (NJHM). The church adopted the name ‘New Jerusalem Church’ with the initial tagline ‘Changing lives in the image of Christ,’ later modified to ‘A place to prepare like Christ’ in 2015.

The ministry prayerfully designed its logo, incorporating a cube, dove, paddy stock, and the four-letter word ‘NJHM,’ each symbolizing key aspects:

Cube: Represents the holy city, the New Jerusalem, with defined boundaries.
Dove: Symbolizes the Holy Spirit.
Paddy stock: Signifies the harvest of souls, with ripe paddy representing abundance.
Golden Color: Reflects the ethical, moral, and spiritual richness of the harvest.
Crown on letter ‘J’: Denotes the royalty of the reigning king, Jesus, with ‘J’ representing Jerusalem.
New Jerusalem Church, initially a small Bible study group in 1999, held its first official service on July 30, 2000. Since then, the church has experienced remarkable growth. The vision is to establish a robust local church where individuals have a profound foundation in God’s word, expressing love and worship in the beauty of holiness. The ministry aspires to witness lives being transformed through personal encounters with God, embracing the blessed life offered by Jesus to those who believe.
