Bishop Dr. V. Rangaraju stands as a beacon of inspiration, tirelessly motivating hundreds of families in India and across the globe with his profound commitment to faith, compassion, and community upliftment.

As the visionary leader of New Jerusalem Harvest Ministries (NJHM), Bishop Rangaraju has embarked on a mission to bring spiritual enlightenment and holistic transformation to countless lives.

Born in the small village of Machilipatnam, Krishna district, in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India, his journey is a testament to resilience, guided by an unwavering dedication to serving humanity.

Bishop is the eldest of three children born to Vudumula Chandra Mohan Raju and Vudumula Elizabeth Rani. Being born with an umbilical cord twisted seven times around himself and initially declared dead, the infant miraculously survived, covered with ants, until the midwife noticed movement. Bishop’s miraculous birth, marked by survival against the odds, symbolizes the divine purpose that has come to define his life. His obedience to the last command and commitment to the Great Commission, as evident in John 15:8–14 and Matthew 28:6–20, respectively, underscores his unwavering faith and determination.

He graduated from Berean Baptist Bible College & Seminary, Bangalore, and drew inspiration from the biographies of influential men of God such as Billy Graham, Joshua Daniel, Bakht Singh, and Paul Yungi Cho. A common thread in these biographies was a reliance on the ‘Holy Spirit’ for guidance. In 1998, Pastor Rangaraju experienced a baptism by the Holy Spirit, leading him to a clear understanding that complete dependence on God, rather than personal intellect, was paramount.

Pastor Rangaraju is married to Sis. Glory Rani and they are blessed with a daughter and a son.

In 2003, Pastor Rangaraju was ordained as ‘Reverend‘ by the Billy Graham Evangelical Association, and in 2008, he received an honorary ‘Doctorate‘ from A.P. Theological Seminary.

In 2010, the Vizag City Pastor’s Fellowship honored Pastor Rangaraju with the title ‘Kristu Seva Ratna‘ The title is not a mere symbol; it is an acknowledgment of his tireless efforts to spread the message of faith in only the Living God Jesus Christ and uplift communities by saving their lives out of sins through his sermons anointed by the Holy Spirit.

In 2019, he was bestowed with the title ‘Bishop‘ by the A.P. State Pastors Fellowship and A.P. Theological Bible College.
