New Jerusalem Harvest Ministries is dedicated to the harvest, relying on the guidance of the Holy Spirit to direct its purpose and diligently prepare His bride for the New Jerusalem.

The vision is to establish a resilient local church where individuals possess a profound foundation in God’s word, expressing love and worship in the beauty of holiness. The ministry aspires to witness lives being transformed through personal encounters with God, embracing the blessed life offered by Jesus Christ to those who believe in Him.

The roots of New Jerusalem Harvest Ministries can be traced back to the pioneering efforts of Bishop Dr. V. Rangaraju, driven by a clear vision for field missions under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Initially a small Bible study group in 1999, it officially held its first service on July 30, 2000. Following the completion of his theological studies, Bishop Rangaraju’s humble commencement unfolded in the pastor’s residence in the town of Hindupur, situated in the current Satya Sai district of Andhra Pradesh, India, beginning with just one member (Sis. Glory Rani Rangaraju). Over time, the ministry has undergone substantial growth, evolving from a small house to a temporarily raked structure and finally to a permanent and aesthetically pleasing church. Its reach has extended to communities in cities such as Hindupur, Bangalore, and the surrounding areas, bringing the blessings of the Almighty.

Bishop Rangaraju’s steadfast commitment to aligning every aspect of the ministry with God’s will led him to seek divine guidance for its name, church, and doctrine. In response, God spoke through Revelation 21, delving into ‘The New Jerusalem,’ inspiring the name ‘New Jerusalem Harvest Ministries’ (NJHM). The church initially bore the name ‘New Jerusalem Church’ with the tagline ‘Changing lives in the image of Christ,’ later refined to ‘A place to prepare like Christ’ in 2015.
